Downtown/Gaslamp

In 1850, a gentleman by the name of William Heath Davis bought 160 acres of bayfront land and named it New Town. People thought Davis was crazy, but fortunately for us Davis' vision was the foundation of the Downtown, San Diego area. Come with me as I explore the William Heath Davis House, walk through the Gaslamp district and learn about the true father of San Diego, Alonzo Horton. I hope you enjoy watching this episode of Wonderland as much as I enjoyed filming it!
